🌳 1. Ground Crew Member (No Experience Needed)

Description:
As a Ground Crew Member, you’ll be the backbone of our daily tree service operations. This is an entry-level role—no prior experience is needed. You’ll support climbers and equipment operators, clean up debris, and learn the basics of tree care and safety. We provide on-the-job training and opportunities to move up.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site preparation and cleanup

  • Operate basic tools like rakes, ropes, and blowers

  • Feed brush and branches into wood chippers

  • Load and unload equipment

  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper gear

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, and work outdoors in all weather

  • Must be reliable and willing to learn

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Location: Southington, CT

🪓 2. Bucket Operator / Tree Equipment Operator (Experience Required)

Description:
We’re hiring skilled Bucket Operators with hands-on experience in aerial lift equipment. You’ll safely trim, prune, and remove trees using a bucket truck or aerial lift. This position requires a deep understanding of tree structure, rigging, and job-site safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a bucket truck to access tree canopies

  • Safely prune, cut, or remove trees at height

  • Communicate clearly with ground crew and climbers

  • Inspect and maintain lift equipment and tools

  • Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in tree care

  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions

  • Strong awareness of rigging and rope systems

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

  • CT Arborist License preferred but not required

Location: Southington, CT

🧗‍♂️ 3. Tree Climber (Experience Required)

Description:
We’re looking for experienced Tree Climbers who can handle technical removals, pruning, and canopy work. You’ll use ropes, saddles, and climbing systems to perform high-level tree care safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy being in the trees and take pride in precise work.

Responsibilities:

  • Climb trees using rope-and-saddle or SRT climbing systems

  • Perform tree pruning, removals, and limb clearing

  • Assess tree structure and determine best cutting strategy

  • Coordinate with bucket operators and ground crew

  • Inspect climbing gear regularly and follow all safety standards

Requirements:

  • 1–2+ years climbing experience in professional tree work

  • Proficiency with rigging and chainsaw use at height

  • Must be physically fit and able to work at elevation

  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is a strong advantage

  • Knowledge of ANSI and OSHA safety standards
